Your work stays on your device
FreeClassTool tools run entirely in your web browser. Text, class lists and other content you enter are not uploaded to our servers. To move them to another computer, download a backup file on the Back Up & Move Your Data page (/backup) — the file stays with you.
Usage statistics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and tools teachers use, so we know what to improve. It records anonymous usage — pages viewed, which tools are opened and used, PDF downloads, Classroom Presentation Mode, search words typed in our tool search, device type and approximate region — and may set analytics cookies. We never send class lists, student names or anything you type into a tool. Google Signals and ad personalization are turned off. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off unless you allow them. You can opt out at any time with Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout; Google explains its use of this data at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Advertising
We show ads to keep every tool free. Our advertising partners may use cookies to measure and serve ads. We request non-personalized ads.
Made for teachers
FreeClassTool is designed for teachers, homeschool parents and other adults. Students may use the tools under a teacher’s direction — for example on a projected classroom screen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and no account or sign-up is required to use any tool.
