A spinning wheel turns any random pick into a moment the whole class watches — and a seasonal theme makes it a celebration. Switch the wheel to Spooky Halloween and it glows in pumpkin orange and purple with bats fluttering past; choose Festive Christmas for red, pine green and gold slices, falling snow and jingle bells for every winner; or pick Thanksgiving Harvest or Spring Easter colors. Spin a seasonal wheel in 3 steps
Add your names. Spin your class list (the same one the Name Picker, Magic Hat, Group Maker and Duck Race use) or switch to Custom list for words, prizes or choices — one per line. Load Sample Class tries it out, and Shuffle List mixes up the order of the slices.
Pick a theme. Tap Rainbow, Spooky Halloween, Festive Christmas, Thanksgiving Harvest or Spring Easter. Colors, decorations and sounds change in one click. Wheel Settings sets a 3, 5 or 8 second spin and Remove Winner.
Spin! Press Spin Wheel, click the wheel or tap the Spacebar. The winner appears in large letters with confetti and a themed celebration sound; choose Close or Remove to take them off the wheel.

Switch the wheel to Custom list and type this week’s vocabulary or spelling words, one per line. Spin, and the student you call on reads the word, defines it or uses it in a sentence. The custom list stays on the wheel only, so your class list is ready for the next spin.
A Friday reward wheel
Custom list starts with rewards like Extra recess, Sticker, Class DJ and Homework pass — edit them to match your class economy. Set Wheel Settings to an 8 second spin for maximum suspense when a student cashes in points, and let the confetti and celebration sound make the moment feel like a prize show.
Holiday party game picker
Switch to Spooky Halloween or Festive Christmas, then spin your class list to choose who plays the next party game or opens the next gift in a swap. The themed decorations, sounds and winner messages change with the season, and Remove Winner makes sure everyone gets a turn before the party ends.

How do I change the wheel theme to Halloween or Christmas?
Tap a theme button under the wheel: Spooky Halloween, Festive Christmas, Thanksgiving Harvest, Spring Easter or the classic Rainbow. The slice colors, background decorations, tick sound and winning sound all change instantly, and your choice is remembered in this browser.
Is this spinner wheel free for teachers?
Yes. The wheel and every seasonal theme are completely free with no sign-up, no downloads and no limits on spins. It works in any modern browser on Chromebooks, iPads, laptops and interactive whiteboards.
Can I remove selected names automatically?
Yes. Turn on Remove Winner in Wheel Settings and every winner leaves the wheel when you close the result, or press Remove in the winner pop-up for a single name. Put back removed names brings them all back in one click.
Can I put words, prizes or choices on the wheel instead of names?
Yes. Switch Spin from Class list to Custom list and type anything you like, one item per line — vocabulary words, math problems, brain-break moves, prizes or lunch-table choices, up to 200 slices. The custom list is saved in this browser and stays on the wheel only, so it never changes the class list your other name tools use. Switch back to Class list any time.
Is the spinner wheel really random?
Yes. The winner is drawn with your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator the moment you press Spin, so every slice has exactly the same chance. The spin is then planned to land on that slice. Choosing a 3, 5 or 8 second spin, or shuffling the slice order with Shuffle List, only changes the show — never anyone’s odds.
Can I spin the wheel with a presentation clicker?
Yes. In Classroom Presentation Mode, Space, Enter, the Right Arrow and Page Down all spin the wheel — those are the keys most presentation clickers send. The same press closes the winner pop-up, so the next press spins again. Outside presentation mode, the Spacebar spins, and you can always click the wheel itself.
