Terms of Use
Last updated October 12, 2026
Using the tools
FreeClassTool is made for teachers, homeschool parents and other adults, and is free for personal, classroom, school and homeschool use. Students may use the tools under a teacher’s direction. You don’t need an account. Please don’t misuse the site — for example by trying to disrupt it, scraping it in bulk, or using it to break the law.
Your content stays with you
Class lists, questions, word lists and settings you enter are stored only in your browser, and you’re responsible for what you enter. We recommend using first names only for students. You can download or delete your data at any time on Back Up & Move Your Data.
Worksheets and printables you make
Worksheets, cards, charts and other printables you create with FreeClassTool are yours to use with your students and share with colleagues. Please don’t resell the site, its tools or its built-in sample content as your own product.
Check before you teach
We work hard to make generated problems, answer keys, lesson plans and sample content accurate, but mistakes can happen. Please review materials before using them with students.
Third-party content and ads
Some pages embed videos from YouTube, which are covered by YouTube’s own terms and privacy policy. Ads are provided by advertising partners under their own terms. Links to other websites are offered for convenience; we don’t control their content.
Trademarks
Names of games and products mentioned to describe a tool (for example, “Jeopardy-style”) belong to their owners. “Jeopardy!” is a trademark of Jeopardy Productions, Inc. FreeClassTool is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
No warranty
FreeClassTool is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Tools may change, pause or be removed, and data saved in your browser can be lost if the browser’s storage is cleared — keep a backup of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, FreeClassTool is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site grows. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the site means you accept it.
