About the Christmas Bingo Cards

Christmas bingo is an easy win for the last days before winter break. This page starts with 28 holiday words, from Santa, reindeer and sleigh to candy cane, gingerbread, mittens, hot cocoa and the North Pole, and shuffles them into up to 40 different cards so no two students have the same board. Choose 5 × 5 cards with a FREE center for grades 1 and up, or 3 × 3 cards for PreK and kindergarten. The PDF ends with a call list, and Classroom Presentation Mode draws each call at random on the big screen so you can play along with the class. Change any word, or add your own, before you print.

Ways to play Christmas bingo

  • Class party game

Print one card per student 2 to a page, hand out small counters and run the caller on the board.

  • Reading practice

Read each call without showing it, so students have to find and read the word on their own card.

  • Picture bingo for little ones

Use 3 × 3 cards and fewer, shorter words like elf, star, bow and sled for PreK and kindergarten.

  • Winter break take-home

Send a few spare cards and the call list home so families can play over the break.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many different cards can I print?

Up to 40. Every card is shuffled from the same list, so each student gets a different board.

Is there a version without Christmas words?

Yes. Tap the Holiday Theme preset for a winter holiday list, or type your own winter words like snowflake, sled, mittens and polar bear.
