About the Addition Worksheets
This page opens on addition facts within 20, the fact fluency goal for grades 1 and 2, with every sum from 2 to 20. Each click on New problems makes a fresh set, so you can print a different page every day of the week, and every PDF comes with an answer key on page 2. Need something easier or harder? Choose Within 10 for kindergarten, Within 100 with no regrouping for two-digit practice, or Within 100 with regrouping when students are ready to carry. Pick 12, 16, 20 or 24 problems and stack them vertically, the way most US classrooms teach addition, or write them across in a line.

Homework with a key
Send page 1 home and keep the answer key on page 2 for quick grading the next day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which addition facts are on the page?
Within 20, both numbers are between 1 and 19 and the sum is never more than 20. Within 10 includes zero, so students also practice adding 0.
Can I make two-digit addition worksheets?
Yes. Choose Within 100 without regrouping for sums like 34 + 25, or with regrouping for sums like 38 + 47 where the ones carry.
