About the Lunar New Year Coloring Pages

Lunar New Year is celebrated across East and Southeast Asia, including as Tết in Vietnam and Seollal in Korea. This set shows symbols many families share: a round Red Paper Lantern, a Red Envelope decorated with flowers, a Blossom Branch of yellow apricot flowers, a friendly Lion Dance Head with a fluffy mane, a potted Kumquat Tree, Fireworks over the rooftops, a Year of the Goat page for 2027, and the Square Rice Cake that Vietnamese families wrap in leaves for Tết. The pictures have no words or characters on them, so they work in any classroom, and the Simple and Detailed pictures cover a wide range of ages.
